Influence of ZnO and Pt Nanoparticles on Cucumber Yielding Capacity and Fruit Quality

Abstract: The influence of ZnO and Pt nanoparticles’ suspensions (5 mg/kg of soil) on the yielding capacity and fruit quality of Cucumissativus L. was studied. We found out that the soil amended with ZnO nanoparticle suspension enhanced cucumber yielding capacity by 36 %, and the fruits had more carotene, zinc and iron compared to the control.
