Small businesses in any country remain an essential link in maintaining the level of competition. Thus, it remains relevant to consider the possibilities of small business development in the economy of any state. This work focuses on the financial and managerial components of such enterprises in Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to assess the methods of financial control and management of small business enterprises in Ukraine, as well as to consider the features of small business development in Ukraine and the Kharkiv region in particular. The primary method for writing the paper was the method of analysis, given a large number of different types of data processed by the authors. During the writing of the work, it was concluded that in Ukraine, financial control in small enterprises plays a unique role in the possibility of further functioning of the enterprise. This is due to a significant number of problems in the country's economy, as well as difficulties that exist in doing business. In work, two models were built that characterize the methods of conducting financial control in the management of the enterprise: column-shaped and spiral-shaped. In addition, the work analyzes the international experience of studying financial control systems in small business companies, which once again confirms the role of financial control in improving their financial results.

The purpose of the study is to assess the effectiveness of a financial strategy for marketing and communication design management in a smart economy. It is noted that the solution to the problem of assessing the financial strategy of marketing and communication design management in a smart economy is important in shaping a new type of national economy based on technology, new knowledge and innovation. It is noted that the chosen topic of our study has hardly been analysed in the works of domestic and foreign scientists. In view of the above, we propose a methodology for assessing the financial strategy of marketing and communication design management in a smart economy. On the basis of multifactor linear regression, the study of the influence of smart economy factors on the level of profitability of enterprises as a resultant indicator of financial strategic management for the past ten years has been conducted. Using the tools of different types of mathematical-statistical modelling, the forecasting of the level of financial management efficiency for 2024-2026 has been calculated.

The issue of actualizing the phenomenon of financial analytics as an effective tool for managing and controlling business processes is becoming of paramount importance amid the active development of the transformation of the Ukrainian economic space. This situation is exacerbated by the digitalization of financial and economic processes, as well as the trend of global integration of the economic space. The study aims to analyze current trends in the development of the financial and analytical sphere as an effective management tool. The research was carried out using the following general scientific methods: multidisciplinary analysis, synthesis, specification, abstraction, induction and deduction, and formalization. The authors assessed the risks involved in the implementation of financial analysis, as well as the vectors of predictive development of its algorithm in the future. It has been found that the digital transformation of financial analysis processes is currently seen as an inevitable optimization stage in the development of the business environment. The authors have identified several dangers related to the use of artificial intelligence in financial analysis within the general trend of digitalizing accounting and economic procedures. The article substantiates that modern digitalization tools create an opportunity to simplify the processes of collecting and accumulating financial information. It has been proven that the implementation of effective financial analysis allows making effective management decisions in business processes. The results of the study may have practical value for optimizing economic activities.
