Resumo -O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a evolução de atributos físicos, químicos e biológicos de um solo hidromórfico sob sistemas de integração lavoura-pecuária, no bioma Pampa. O estudo foi desenvolvido em área experimental manejada com sistema plantio direto desde 2006, no Município de Capão do Leão, RS, em um Planossolo Háplico eutrófico típico. Três áreas foram utilizadas, com os seguintes tipos de manejo: área de lavoura sem pastejo; área de integração lavoura-pecuária (ILP), com soja e milho alternados em sucessão à pastagem de inverno; e campo nativo pastejado. As coletas de solo foram realizadas em duas épocas, em todas as áreas, às camadas de 0,00-0,05, 0,05-0,10 e 0,10-0,20 m profundidade, para análises dos seguintes atributos do solo: físicos, macroporosidade, microporosidade e densidade; químicos, carbono orgânico total, nitrogênio total e relação carbono/nitrogênio; e biológicos, diversidade e abundância da macrofauna edáfica. Na área com pastejo, a macroporosidade aumentou ao longo do tempo. A densidade do solo diminuiu na camada 0,00-0,05 m, enquanto o carbono orgânico total aumentou na camada de 0,10-0,20 m, em todas as áreas. O sistema de integração lavoura-pecuária favorece a abundância e a diversidade da fauna edáfica do solo.Termos para indexação: áreas de várzea, fauna edáfica, Planossolo Háplico, plantio direto, qualidade do solo, terras baixas. Evolution of physical, chemical, and biological attributes of hydromorphic soil under crop-livestock integration systems in the Pampa biomeAbstract -The objective of this work was to evaluate the evolution of physical, chemical, and biological attributes of a hydromorphic soil, in crop-livestock integration systems in the Pampa biome. The study was carried out in an experimental area under no-tillage system since 2006, in the municipality of Capão do Leão, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in a Haplic Albaqualf. Three areas were used with the following management types: an area without grazing; a grazing area under crop-livestock integration (CLI), with soybean or corn in alternating years, in succession to winter grazing; and a native grazed field. Soil samplings were conducted in two seasons in all areas, at the 0.00-0.05, 0.05-0.10, and 0.10-0.20-m soil layers, in order to carry out the following soil analyses: physical attributes, macroporosity, microporosity and density; chemical attributes, total organic carbon, total nitrogen, and carbon/nitrogen ratio; biological attributes, diversity and abundance of edaphic macrofauna. In the grazinf area, macroporosity increase over the time. There was a reduction in soil bulk density at the 0.00-0.05-m soil depth, whereas total organic carbon increased in the 0.10-0.20-m soil depth, in all areas. The crop-livestock integration system benefits the abundance and diversity of the edaphic fauna in the soil.

Precision sowing has been a major thrust of agricultural engineering research for many years; however, most of the research and development work has dealt with seeders for agronomic crops. Sowing quality means required vertical (depth) and horizontal (spatial) spacing of seeds in the soil with minimal damage to the seeds. The spatial distribution of seeds (horizontal spacing) is given by distance between the rows and spacing of the seeds in a row. The objective of the study was the evaluation and comparison of the sowing quality of sowing machine JD MaxEmerge XP with mechanical filling of ladle holes with holding fingers within usage of seeds with different dimensional and shape attributes in agricultural conditions. As it was observed that shape attributes have a significant effect on seeding quality and at the end it affects emergency and whole further growth of maize seeds. Sowing machine JD MaxEmerge XP reached good results for the quality especially when using the angular seeds. It reached the sowing quality expressed by the standard deviation of 46.95 -50.76 % when seeds PR 37 N01 and for seeds PR 37 N01 it is 47.43 -48.73 %. Another evaluative criterion is dual sowing of seeds or plants (DRR), it was reached the average value 3.65 -2.45 % for angular seeds and the average of 1.54 -3.71 % for approximately spherical seeds.
