Student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect need attention because it is the professional competence of prospective teachers related to mastery of learning materials. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of learning in the context of ethnoscience on learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of prospective physics teacher students. The research method used is quantitative with two stages. First, a limited trial study with a one-group pretest-posttest design at Hamzanwadi University with a total of 9 students. Second, experimental research with a post-test only group design was conducted at the University of Mataram, with a total of 77 students. In a limited trial study, an N-gain test analysis was carried out to determine the success rate of treatment with the minimum category being in the "medium" criteria. In experimental research, the effect of treatment was tested. The research sample includes all students who take the High School Physics Studies course at the Physics Education Study Program, University of Mataram, in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The class is divided into 3 groups consisting of a class that uses an LMS with an ethnoscience context (Group A) totaling 27 people, a class using an LMS with a module (Group B) totaling 23 people, and a class using an LMS with PowerPoint (Group C) totaling 27 people. Cognitive learning outcomes data were obtained from giving essay tests after treatment. Analysis of the data used to test the hypothesis is a one-way ANOVA with SPSS 25 calculation. The results show that the average value of Group A is 78.00, Group B is 70.70, and Group C is 70.96. Lectures in Group A have a significant influence on student cognitive learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that learning in the context of ethnoscience has a positive effect on the professional competence of prospective physics teachers

Saat ini Corona atau yang sering disebut dengan Covid-19 menjadi pembicaraan yang hangat. Di belahan bumi manapun, corona masih mendominasi ruang publik. Beberapa pemerintah daerah memutuskan menerapkan kebijakan untuk meliburkan siswa dan mulai menerapkan metode belajar dengan sistem daring (dalam jaringan) atau online. Kebijakan pemerintah ini mulai efektif diberlakukan di beberapa wilayah provinsi di Indonesia. Dengan pembelajaran daring tentunya banyak metode yang harus dipersiapkan oleh masing-masing institusi salah satunya pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi Edmodo. Tujuannya agar proses belajar mengajar dalam jarak jauh lebih mudah sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu agar pendidikan di era globalisasi khususnya di masa pandemi ini walaupun dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh tetap efektif sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tercapai. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis riset kepustakaan (library research) atau sering juga disebut studi pustaka. Dengan adanya aplikasi Edmodo sebagai salah satu media dalam pembelajaran mempermudah proses belajar mengajar antara guru dan peserta didik karena di zaman sekarang guru selalu dituntut untuk kreatif.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of H-PBL to stimulating students HOTS and ICT skills. The model of H-PBL was a combination of online and direct learning. Direct learning was conducted by PBL. During online learning, the students conducted discussion through schoology applications that aimed to increase the ICT skills. The research design in this study was quantitative research with quasi-experimental type, the population that used in this study was students in 1st semester of pattern 6 in State Junior High School 5 Malang, while the sample in this study was 1 experimental class that used learning model of H-PBL and 1 control class that used learning model of PBL. The hypothesis was analyzed using the MANOVA test. The effectiveness of H-PBL learning could be known according to the improvement of learning result before and after using the H-PBL learning model and also could be known by differentiating the learning result of classes which used learning model of H-PBL dan PBL. The result of this study shown that the use of the learning model of H-PBL was proven effective in stimulating HOTS and ICT skills of students in energy materials. The analysis of this study obtained that the score of HOTS in the experimental class was 131.1 and for control class was 99.2, and the score of ICT skills in the experimental class was 18.7 while for control class was 17.8. The result shows H-PBL has effective to stimulated the student HOTS and ICT skill in Physics learning.
