“…ILK is a lymphokine(s ) secreted by S. enteritidis-immune T lymphocytes which have undergone mitogenic stimulation . To date, we have no evidence of pathology induced by ILK potentiation in neonatal chicks (Kogut et al, 1996), thus suggesting that the mechanisms involved are short-lived and controlled.
