“…In 2020, Tan et al. used core‐mediated imine polymerization to grow porphyrin‐based COFs on the surface of up‐conversion nanoparticles (UCNP) . When UCNP@COF was irradiated at 980 nm near‐infrared (NIR) light, 654 nm red light emitted by the UCNP excited the porphyrin photosensitizer to produce 1 O 2 .…”

“…[5][6][7][8] COFs are also promising candidates for biomedical applications owing to their unique stability, biocompatibility and functional diversity. [9][10][11][12] But the poor dispersibility and unsatisfactory bioavailability caused by their large size are still the major bottlenecks for COFs to be used for biomedical applications. [13][14][15][16][17] Nanoscale COFs possessing better dispersibility and higher bioavailability are more suitable for biomedical purposes.…”

“…Here, we will introduce the different kinds of methods to make the bread: COF-based oncotherapy examples. Till now, COFs have been used as drug delivery carriers, 221,[396][397][398][399][400][401][402][403] phototherapy reagents, 163,216,223,261,[404][405][406][407][408][409][410] and combination therapy platforms 161,162,220,[411][412][413][414][415] for tumor therapeutics ( Table 5).…”
