Hypovitaminosis D and hypocalcemic seizures in infancy

Abstract: Vitamin D deficiency is a major cause of hypocalcemic seizures in infants. Infants born to vitamin D deficient mothers are at a significantly higher risk to develop hypocalcemic seizures.
