This study examines the implications of legal education in strengthening a tobacco-free lifestyle among the Muslim community. The research design is qualitative. The study took place in Bone-Bone Village, an exotic area in the Latimojong Mountains of Indonesia, which successfully implemented a tobacco-free lifestyle in all dimensions through legal education based on Islamic values. The study involved 135 participants who understood the research objectives and were willing to participate. Data was collected through interviews and focused group discussions. Data analysis was conducted using nVivo Basic 12.00 x32 for Windows. The Village Regulations 2009 is the foundation for the community's legal education process. The community's acceptance of the tobacco-free area rules through legal education is very good. Supporting factors include: 1) Actors, such as the village head (34.78%), traditional leaders (26.09%), religious leaders (21.74%), and educators (13.04%); 2) Culture, mutual respect being a legal education value derived from local community wisdom (42.86%), and village residents complying with the rules; 3) Tobacco-free lifestyle is supported by awareness of maintaining a healthy environment (24.71%) and considering the continuation of education for children in the village. Actors, culture, and community behaviour support legal compliance and awareness. Legal education has implications for a tobacco-free lifestyle, supported by actor factors playing roles as initiators, communicators, and drivers. The cultural factors of the community that uphold Islamic values and behavioural factors are manifestations of compliance with positive law, religious guidance, and a healthy lifestyle.

Orang tua yang melakukan pernikahan di usia anak menarik untuk diteliti karena mereka menikah di usia yang belum cukup umur (usia anak) yang secara emosi maupun ekonomi masih belum memasuki fase matang atau dewasa untuk memiliki anak dan melaksanakan pengasuhan anak. Selain itu, semakin tingginya pernikahan usia muda di daerah Surabaya, terutama Pabean Cantian. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola asuh anak pada keluarga dengan orang tua yang melakukan pernikahan pada usia dini. Metode kualitatif studi kasus. digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan teknik pengambilan informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 27 orang, yaitu : perempuan antara 15 tahun sampai 30 tahun dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini. Kriteria informan utama yaitu mereka yang telah menikah dan melakukan pernikahan pada usia anak yakni 12-18 tahun. Kemudian peneletian ini menganalisis berdahasarkan grounded theory dengan hasil angket dengan melilustrasikannya. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pernikahan di usia anak akan mengakibatkan pola asuh yang kurang sesuai sehingga dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan anak baik secara emosional, kognitif maupun perkembangan fisik dikarenakan kesulitan ekonomi.

Background: The major health problem currently is the smoking habit which cannot be separated from society, because smoking is considered a common thing carried out among people. As a result of this habit, cigarette smoke exposure has a direct impact on the growth and development of the children by interfering the absorption of nutrients which will later disrupt their growth and development and can influence the incidence of stunting. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the relationship between cigarette smoke exposure and the incidence of stunting among children in the working area of the Pangkajene Health Center, Sidrap Regency in 2023. Method: This study was conducted from May, 25th to June, 25th 2023. This study employed a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. A total of 45 respondents was chosen as sample in this study, using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire and the relationship between cigarette smoke exposure and the incidence of stunting among toddlers. Results: Exposure to cigarette smoke has a direct impact on the growth and development of their children by interfering with the absorption of nutrients in children which will later interfere with their growth and development. Conclusion: Exposure to cigarette smoke is one of the important problems that causes stunting in children because the chemicals produced can have both direct and indirect effects on children. Therefore, education is needed regarding the importance of not smoking and the negative impacts resulting from inhaling cigarette smoke.
