Cheating behavior grows from a tolerant attitude towards cheating and low self-efficacy. This research was conducted to test the effectiveness of group counseling with congnitive restructuring techniques to reduce students' attitudes towards cheating and increase the self-efficacy of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta. The experimental method used was randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design, involving 14 students as research subjects who were selected purposively from a total of 123 students in class XI. There are two instruments used, namely Attitude Toward Cheating (ATC) for the attitude scale towards cheating and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) for the self-efficacy scale. The results of this study indicate that cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce attitudes towards cheating and increase student self-efficacy seen from the effectiveness level of cognitive restructuring techniques show that the results are significant. This study confirms the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce the tendency to cheat by reducing cheating attitudes and increasing self-efficacy.

The success or failure of a student in education depends on the learning process experienced by the student. The teachers can provide more varied learning in order to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the influence of the character of discipline and learning motivation as well as variations in teaching on the economics learning outcomes of students in grade X. The type of research used is explanatory research with survey method. The population in the study were all students in class X high school, using random sampling so that the research sample was all participants in class X high school. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire while the learning outcomes were taken from the student's learning scores. The data analysis technique in this study is to use path analysis (path analysis) in its implementation is carried out through the SPSS program. There is an influence between student characters on student learning outcomes. The character of discipline and learning motivation have a positive effect on student learning outcomes because learning outcomes will increase if the character of learning discipline increases and is followed by learning motivation and student learning outcomes can be bad if students are not instilled with the character of discipline and motivation in learning. Variations given by the teacher can develop student learning outcomes if they have various kinds of teaching variations.

Pondok pesantren merupakan salah satu tempat belajar. Santri merupakan istilah bagi murid yang belajar di pondok pesantren. Santri bermukim di pondok dan tinggal terpisah dengan orang tuanya. Santri akan belajar dan mengasah kecakapan hidup (life skill) dan bertujuan agar santri lebih mandiri. Hal ini akan meningkatkan kemandirian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana model peningkatan kemandirian santri akselerasi di pondok pesantren Amanatul Ummah Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam. Data yang didapat dianalis secara tematik sesuai tema wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemandirian santri didasari oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal, serta terdapat 3 tahapan peningkatan kemandirian. Faktor internal meliputi hal-hal yang ada dalam diri santri, seperti pola pikir. Faktor eksternal meliputi hal-hal di luar diri santri, meliputi lingkungan dan pengalaman yang dimiliki. Sedangkan tahapan peningkatan kemandirian yaitu: pertama, tahap dasar, yaitu santri mampu mengatur dan bertanggungjawan terhadap dirinya sendiri. Kedua, tahap menengah, santri lebih berani di depan umum, berani menyampaikan argumentasi, dan mampu menyelesaikan masalahnya. Ketiga, tahap tertinggi, santri mampu diberikan amanah dan tanggungjawab bagi sekitarnya.
