This study explores how promoting e-commerce participation impacts the adoption of green agrotechnology by resettlers in China’s Three Gorges Reservoir area and helps rural revitalization and the realization of value from ecological produce. First, we combine induced innovation model theory with the risk perception factor of expected utility theory. A model of resettlers’ green agrotechnology adoption under different levels of e-commerce participation is constructed, and research hypotheses are proposed accordingly. Survey data gathered from resettled farmers in Zigui, the first county of the studied area, are tested empirically with an ordered probit model. The results show first, that e-commerce participation significantly and positively affects the level of green agrotechnology adoption at the 1% level; and second, that expectations of the ecological value of agricultural products and the agrotechnology support provided by e-commerce are important driving factors. The promotion effect of different modes of e-commerce participation on agrotechnology adoption differ. The risk-averse behavior of resettlers can weaken the promotion effect of e-commerce participation on agrotechnology adoption.

Organizations today engage in turbulent competition to seize opportunities and cope with challenges by making strategy planning, increasing information technology (IT) investment, and other means. Based on survey data through questionnaires, this paper constructs models to explore the synergistic effects of information strategy (IS) and IT governance (ITG) on firm performance. The results show that, first, ITG and IS as explanatory variables have a significant influence on firm performance. Second, ITG has a positive effect on the relationship between IS and firm performance. This study extends existing research on IS and ITG by exploring the synergistic effects of IS and ITG on firm performance. The conclusion provides management insight and practical guidance for enterprises by actively implementing IS to improve firm performance to transform from the inherent pattern of traditional governance to the new technology governance.

The widespread development of the Internet has allowed the use of information and communication technologies and transformed the traditional methods of promoting products in the domestic and foreign markets. Against the background of the general trend towards individualization in working with consumers, information and communication technologies are becoming more widespread in order to expand communication and receive feedback from the end user. At the present stage of development, marketing is becoming one of the conditions for successful functioning in market conditions for enterprises in the agricultural sector. The advancement of communication technologies and their widespread adoption have prompted agricultural producers and retailers to explore various online resources and channels of communication with consumers and use them to promote their products. The paper examines the experience of using various types of marketing communications to promote agricultural products for export and analyzes their potential and prospects for use by domestic producers.
