Eine größere Anzahl von Isopoly‐ und Heteropolykomplexen von Molybdän und Wolfram wurde synthetisiert und röntgenelektronenspektroskopisch untersucht. Gesetzmäßigkeiten im Verlauf der Bindungsenergien der Elektronen O 1s, Mo 3d, W 4d sowie Z 2p des Heteroelements werden diskutiert. Die Resultate werden verglichen mit Ergebnissen magnetischer Messungen. Mit Hilfe der 1H‐NMR‐Spektren werden Besonderheiten im Bau der Nickelkomplexe erklärt, die zu erhöhten Bindungsenergien der Ni 2p‐Elektronen führen.
