The purpose of the work is a comparative assessment of the effect of boron hydrocarbonate sodium mineral waters with a varying quantitative and qualitative composition of macroelements and with different amounts of a bioactive element on the state of the urinary system of rats. Materials and methods. The work was performed on 81 white rats of the Wistar line of auto bred breeding, weighing 180-200 g. The rats were divided into four groups: group 1 - 21 intact rats served as controls; group 2 - 20 rats treated intragastrically with a soft probe MW "Polyana Ploskivskaya" at a dose of 1% of body weight daily, a course of 7 days; group 3 - 20 rats treated with MW "Polyana Kupel" according to the above method; group 4 - 20 rats treated with MW "Svalyava" according to the above process. Before removing the animals from the experiment, daily urine was collected from them; blood was also taken from the tail vein for biochemical studies. At autopsy, pieces of kidneys were taken for histological and histoenzymological studies (the activity of succinate dehydrogenase and lactate dehydrogenase was determined). Results. The histological studies showed no pathological changes in the kidneys were observed with the use of the studied boron MW. Still, there were structural changes, as well as an increase in the activity of redox enzymes. Changes in kidney function were unidirectional with using any of the investigated MW. Still, they had quantitative differences, which are less related to the amount of boron (in the form of orthoboric acid) in 1 liter of MW and more dependent on the osmolarity of the MW, the qualitative composition of macronutrients, and their ratio. Conclusion. We believe that osmolarity, as an integrated indicator of the state of the macronutrient component of MW, can be used to assess its effect on the structural and functional characteristics of the kidneys.

The article presents the results of studies of the effect of radon and sulfide min-eral waters (MW) on Wistar rats with experimental arthrosis. materials and methods. Rats were randomized into 4 groups. Group 1 consisted of intact rats (control group). In the remaining three groups, a model of knee arthrosis was reproduced using dexamethasone injections. Group 2 consisted of rats with untreated pathology. Group 3 consisted of rats using radon MW procedures, and group 4 consisted of rats using sulfide MW. Results. Morphological studies have determined that using radon and sulfide MW has a curative effect on the structural and functional organization of the joint and cartilage - the manifes-tations of inflammation in the knee joints are significantly reduced, dystrophic manifesta-tions disappear, and reparative processes in cartilage improve. There are signs of an im-provement in the state of metabolic processes in the body of rats: the balance in the lipid peroxidation and antioxidant systems is restored, and the indicators of the processes of energy supply of transmembrane transport (according to the activity of magnesium-dependent Na+/K+-ATP-ase and Ca2+-ATP-ase) and protein exchange.Conclusion. Based on the data obtained, it was concluded that both applied MWs have a unidirectional, but somewhat different in strength, curative effect on the course of experimental arthrosis, which is due to different mechanisms of the biological action of radon and hydrogen sul-fide. Mineral Water Inhalations in Sanatorium Rehabilitation of Patients After Covid-19 Disease

The effectiveness of including steam inhalation with therapeutic diluted sodium chloride mineral water in the rehabilitation complex of patients after pneumonia caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus was determined. Patients in the control group received a basic complex of sanatorium rehabilitation, which included electrophoresis with 10% CaCl2 solution on the chest area, magnetic laser irradiation on the lungs, massage, and exercise therapy. Patients in the main group received steam therapy with therapeutic diluted chloride mineral water containing metasilicic acid. Patients in this group showed a significant decrease in the frequency of obstructive disorders in the bronchopulmonary system, a considerable increase in the frequency of physiological indicators of external respiratory function, improvement in the functional state of the respiratory system according to the Borg scale and physical activity according to the 6-minute walk test, and a significant decrease in the level of inflammatory markers. Adding a course of steam inhalation with therapeutic diluted sodium chloride mineral water to the basic complex of sanatorium resort rehabilitation has increased its effectiveness.
