The scale of environmental pressure caused by the construction sector has prompted a search for new technical solutions to minimize the negative impact of this part of the national economy on the environment. The drive to evaluate the adopted solutions has led to the creation of building assessment systems - environmental certificates. The aim of the article is both to introduce the certification processes used in the Polish residential property market and to indicate the locations of residential investments that have obtained the certificates in question. The paper takes a closer look at environmental certification using multi-criteria building assessment systems, i.e. BREEAM, LEED and HQE. The time scope of the presented research covered the years 2016 to the first quarter of 2022. The research carried out allowed an upward trend to be observed in the number of environmental certificates awarded, indicating the use of green building principles for residential properties. It is certain that there has been a development of this type of investment in Poland in the recent years. An analysis of the spatial distribution of the surveyed investments shows that location clusters have formed - green (low-emission) residential investments are distributed in the largest cities in Poland, which are characterized by a strictly defined consumer profile.

The purpose of this study is to explore modern solutions for the introduction of green spaces in the structure of residential buildings. The world practical experience is summarized, which has revealed three ways of external landscaping of buildings – a green roof, a green facade with climbing plants and a green wall. Two groups of public spaces in a residential building are also defined – open and closed, in which different types of landscaping can be used. Also, foreign experience shows the use of landscaping in transit, utility and technical spaces. The study reveals the main methods of introducing green spaces for residential buildings on the example of the city of Samara in the form of conceptual schemes. And also, generalization of the space-planning solutions of a residential building with the introduction of landscaping, allowed us to formulate the basic principles of designing green public spaces: the principle of transit landscaping, the principle of green zoning, the principle of green separation, the principle of green unification, the principle of double landscaping. It is determined that the world experience of the introduction of landscaping in the space of a residential building must be adapted to the Russian conditions. This, in turn, will increase both the ecological and aesthetic component, as well as ensure social interaction of residents and the comfort of living.

The relevance of the study is determined by the need to create a sustainable, comfortable, safe, and accessible environment for people with disabilities (PWDs) in modern public open spaces (POS). Green parks are key elements of landscapes of POS and urban sustainability, improving the quality of the environment and life of society. Design, reconstruction of the landscape organization of green POS and, in particular, green parks, based on principles of Universal Design (UD), allow all city dwellers, including PWDs, have equal conditions in receiving positive emotions from communication with nature, comfortable rest, play sports to maintain self-confidence. Objects of study are green urban green parks in the hilly terrain of Vladivostok, requiring landscape adaptation for PWDs. The goal of the study is the development of an experimental project proposal for a green park in hill terrain based on UD design guidelines. To achieve this goal the study summarizes the theoretical sources for the use of principles of UD when forming green POS; analysis the availability of elements of an accessible environment in green parks in hill terrain of Vladivostok; performed the experimental projects for landscape adaptation of green parks for PWDs in hill terrain of Vladivostok, based on principles of UD.
