<span lang="EN-US">The implementation of learning in the current situation can be carried out using online learning as part of the methodology to answer the educational challenges caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The role of technology in the online learning process in previous research studies has made it a major and important factor for successful learning in this emergency situation. This study aimed to investigate a philosophical perspective using the critical realism paradigm regarding the role of technology in online learning practices based on e-learning systems and justice in social interaction in aspects of learning implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a qualitative method with a critical realism approach. The results indicated that several critical arguments exist to rebalance the role of technology back to its origin, which is not a major factor, but a factor that still requires support from personal factors, personal behavior, and teacher readiness in facing technological developments. The findings of the study can be used to implement technology-based online learning while keeping practical and social justice in mind for both students and teachers.</span>

Mobile learning (ML) is now involved in the creation of teaching and learning methods for higher education. However, this involvement is varied among countries. The objective of this research was to examine the factors that impact students' intentions to use ML in Iraqi higher education institutions (HEIs). Building on unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) and information system success model (ISSM), a conceptual model was developed. The population of this study are users in Iraqi univeristies. Using a stratified random sampling, a total of 323 responses were collected to examine the proposed hypotheses. The findings showed that variables of UTAUT such as effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI), performance expectancy (PE), facilitating conditions (FC) as well as variables of ISSM such as satisfaction along with perceived enjoyment and self efficacy affected positively the intention to use ML (ITUML) which in turn affected actual use (AU). Gender and experience moderated the effect of PE, EE, and SI on ITUML. A model of ITUML among users in Iraqi HEI was developed. Decision makers are advised to focus on certain variables to enhance the usage of ML in HEI.

A school as a learning organisation (LO) is indispensable today. However, the limitations of schools in human resources (teacher) problems, infrastructure facilities and funds become real obstacles. This research is carried out to find a LO model based on strengthening self-efficacy and empowering teachers. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach, a causal associative type with survey methods involving 237 pre-elementary teachers. Samples are determined by using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis uses regression analysis to test aspects of relationships and direct influence between independent and dependent variables. The main result of this research is a positive causality relationship, and if the self-efficacy and empowerment of teachers are high, then the LO will be increased significantly. Strengthening the LO through self-efficacy and teacher empowerment is very important because it can improve the quality of graduates.
