English is a Lingua Franca in the many domains. Its spread is a factor and a result of the Expanding Globalization. The current conflict between Russia and the West initiates a number of increasing concerns towards the fate and the future of the Russian language.To be more exact, they are underdevelopment, pidginization and influx and spread of the English language uncontrolled. The research was carried out at Saint Petersburg University in the period of January 2016. CLIL and non-CLIL students from three Saint Petersburg universities were asked (N=301 Keywords: english is a lingua franca; world englishes; russian english; pidginization. RESUMOO inglês é uma Língua Franca em muitos domínios. A sua propagação é um fator e um resultado da expansão da globalização. O conflito atual entre a Rússia e o Ocidente suscita uma série de preocupações crescentes em relação ao destino e ao futuro da língua russa. Para sermos mais exatos, ela está em subdesenvolvimento, pidginização (linguagem de contato), e com influxo e disseminação da língua inglesa descontrolados. Bilingual cognitive map in the space of teaching public administration: a russian case

The introduction of bilingual programs for future bureaucrats turned out to be a great challenge. In Russia this is one of the "classic" areas, in which the spirit of conservatism and collectivism prevails. In this area, the idea of teaching in English may be perceived with hatred: English can invade the closed area communication of offi cials, to make the excessive diversity of their contacts and violate patriotism and national identity. We used a cognitive map approach. It allows us to create diff erent kinds of cognitive maps and teaching materials for university students who need to learn in one course the terminology in both languages. The results show that the study of the subject/ course in English is not harmful to the development of professional Russian language. It was confi rmed by the individual discussion in Russian. En Rusia, esta es una de las áreas "clásicos", donde prevalece el espíritu de conservadurismo y el colectivismo. En esta área, la idea de la enseñanza en Inglés se puede ver con el odio: Inglés puede romperse en los responsables de comunicación cerrados hacer excesiva diversidad de sus contactos y violan el patriotismo y la identidad nacional. Utilizamos un enfoque mapa cognitivo. Que nos permite crear diferentes tipos de mapas y materiales educativos para los estudiantes universitarios que necesitan aprender en un curso de la terminología en ambos idiomas. Los resultados muestran que el estudio del curso / Inglés sujeto no es perjudicial para el desarrollo de la lengua rusa profesional, siendo confirmados por las discusiones individuales en Rusia. Al mismo tiempo, los artículos en las habilidades de lectura en inglés mejoraron significativamente. The Language of Altruism: Corpus-Based Conceptualization of Social Category for Management Sociology

Management sociology poses the problem of the quantitative interpretation of qualitative research. The article deals with the corpus-based method, which can be considered as one of the solution tools. Based on 'grounded theory' methodology (Strauss & Corbin, n. d.) and partly debating with conceptual analysis (Sartory & Goertz, n. d.), we propose to elaborate a definition of the concept using quantitative research. The authors identified useful areas of corpus linguistics in the analysis of social and management phenomena and distinguished between corpus linguistics and sociological content analysis methods:-Direct appeal to the everyday use of the language increases the objectivity of the research; -A corpus provides a large quantity of representative data; -The possibility of diachronic and synchronic comparative studies; -The method itself is not time-consuming and expensive.We chose the category 'altruism' as an example to demonstrate the possibilities of the method. The analysis shows features in the representation of altruism in Russian that the field of management sociology needs to address for the preparation of questionnaires, interview guides and transcript analysis.
