In social life, humans cannot be separated from social interactions with others. This is based on the fact that humans are social creatures, which in their lives cannot live alone but need help from others. This makes people need help and assistance in solving problems in their lives. In Javanese culture, collaboration that is carried out collectively is known as soyo. Soyo is carried out as an effort to be able to lighten work and is evidence of harmonious life in a community. This study examines the soyo phenomenon from a social and cultural perspective. The findings show that social learning is important in the continuation of the soyo tradition and that moral responsibility and wholeheartedness are essential features of engagement in the practice.

Kemendikbud menginjeksikan oreintasi pembangunan berkelanjutan dalam sektor pendidikan harus mengikuti serta melakukan filterisasi terhadap trend global. Peran bahan ajar dalam fenomena ini merupakan salah satu instrumen perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran bagi peserta didik. Berdasarkan amanat kemerdekaan, visi pendidikan nasional, dan orientasi terhadap masa depan bangsa, bahan ajar harus memiliki elemen kunci yang terdapat dalam profil pelajar pancasila sehingga mampu menunjang dalam mewujudkan education for sustainable development. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui instrumen elemen profil pelajar pancasila dalam bahan ajar, keterkaitan elemen kunci profil pelajar pancasila dalam menunjang ESD, dan kesesuaian bahan ajar dengan elemen kunci profil pelajar pancasila sehingga mampu menunjang ESD. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa adanya elemen kunci profil pelajar pancasila dalam menunjang ESD, indikator bahan ajar yang memuat elemen profil pelajar pancasila, dan kesesuaian bahan ajar. Secara keseluruhan, kedua bahan ajar dapat dikatakan memiliki kesesuaian dengan profil pelajar pancasila dan dapat digunakan untuk menunjang ESD.

This paper argues that the ‘continuous idea’ is related to community-based environmental quality improvement. This argument is based on the view that environmental conditions do not start from a blank canvas that is responded to with new ideas that are finished, but rather a canvas that has traces of previous ideas and should be positioned as an unfinished condition. The act of re-reading, re-defining, and re-articulating will encourage the improvement of environmental quality with the potential of the context. This study uses Kampung Ketandan, Surabaya, Indonesia, as a case study. Kampung Ketandan has undergone a process of re-articulation of its environment. The replacement and reconstruction of the joglo building in the middle of the kampung triggered an improvement in the quality of the environment in terms of cleanliness, health, and greenery. The findings of this study reveal that behind the improvement in the quality of the environment, there are essential triggers, including redrawing the idea of collaboration and the vision, which is based on the act of revisiting the idea of ownership. The findings suggest the importance of understanding and applying intransitive perspectives in maintaining environmental quality.
