Abstract: RESUMOO cubiu (Solanum sessiliflorum Dunal) é uma espécie nativa da região amazônica que tem se expandido além do seu centro de origem. A planta possui potencial para a agroindústria devido a alta produtividade de frutos e acúmulo de altos níveis de ferro, niacina e ácido cítrico.
