The Covid-19 pandemic has changed people's habits to always maintain cleanliness. Good knowledge of the Covid-19 pandemic and oral hygiene as an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 is important to apply during this pandemic, one of which is through online education. This study aims to determine the effect of online education on the level of knowledge of Methodist-2 Kisaran junior high school children in maintaining oral hygiene during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest post-test design. The research sample was 50 students of Methodist-2 Private SMP students. Data was collected by dividing the questionnaire twice (pretest and post test) via smartphone. Data were analyzed using paired t test. Based on the results of the study, the average score for knowledge of Methodist-2 Private SMP children in maintaining oral hygiene during the Covid-19 pandemic before being given online education was 34.96±1.795 and after increasing to 37.38±1.383. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of online education on the level of knowledge of Methodist-2 Kisaran junior high school children in maintaining oral hygiene during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The prevalence of stunting in children under five based on Basic Health Research data in 2007 and 2010 in Indonesia is still very high, namely 36.8% (18.8% very short and 18.0% short) in 2007 and 35.6% (18.5 % is very short and 17.1% is short) in 2010 so it can be concluded that stunting occurs in more than one third of children under five in Indonesia [5,6].South Sulawesi Province experienced an increase in stunting from 2007 (29.1%), increasing in 2010 (36.8%) and again experiencing an increase in 2013 to 40.9%. This indicates that the problem of stunting in infants is a public health problem considered serious because it reaches a stunting prevalence of ≥ 40%. Enrekang Regency is the regency with the highest stunting prevalence, which is 53.37% in 2013 in South Sulawesi [8].

Stunting is one of the most common malnutrition conditions. Stunting conditions can cause impaired child development including developmental disorders in the oral cavity. Stunting children are more susceptible to dental caries due to changes in saliva characteristics. This study aims to analyze the relationship between stunting and the severity of dental caries in elementary school-aged children in Tuah Negeri District, Musi Rawas Regency. Methods: This study is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 70 people was taken randomly from elementary school students in Tuah Negeri District, Musi Rawas Regency. Determination of nutritional status based on anthropometric measurements (TB/U). DMFT examination was carried out by looking at decaying, filling, and missing teeth, then the severity of dental caries was categorized into low (DMFT 0 - 2.6), moderate (DMFT 2.7 - 4.4), high (DMFT > 4.5). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 20 with Chi-Square Test analysis. Result: The results of the measurement of nutritional status showed that 34 children (48.6%) were stunted. In stunting children, there are 15 children (44.12%) in the low category, 16 children (47.06%) in the medium category, 3 children (8.82%) in the high category. The results of the bivariate analysis obtained p = 0.000. Conclussion: There is a significant relationship between stunting and the severity of dental caries in children aged 10-12 years in Tuah Negeri District, Musi Rawas Regency. It is necessary to increase efforts to promote health related to stunting and dental health through health education activities by involving the role of parents in choosing food intake and in maintaining children's dental and oral hygiene
