Gamificação: surgimento e consolidação

Abstract

Nos últimos anos, a gamification tem ganhado a atenção de pesquisadores de diversas áreas, graças ao seu potencial percebido para motivar e envolver. O termo gamification é usado para designar a aplicação de elementos de jogo em tarefas de não jogos, transformando essas tarefas mais envolvente e incentivando comportamentos desejáveis em clientes, usuários e estudantes. Este artigo busca esclarecer sobre o surgimento e consolidação da gamification, relatando os resultados de uma revisão de literatura sobre o tema entre 2011 a 2015. Os trabalhos foram coletados a partir do Portal de Periodicos da Capes/Mec totalizando 487 documentos, os quais foram analisados e classificados de acordo com os seguintes critérios: conceitos relacionados a gamification, elementos de jogos utilizados pela gamification, áreas que mais publicaram sobre a gamification, e por fim a relação entre gamification educação e motivação. Os resultados que emergem deste estudo apontam para a crescente popularidade de técnicas de gamification aplicadas em uma ampla gama de ambientes.
