Frequency up-conversion in a mercury thiogallate crystal

Abstract: The effect of polymorphous transitions on the regularities of the scattering of Ar ions by polycrystalline cobalt has been studied. The temperature dependence of the number of ions scattered in a given direction has been established to be non-monotonic in the temperature range near the phase transition temperature.
