Abstract: Background: Odontogenic maxillary sinusitis primarily results from multiplication of bacteria secondary to dental infection. Because the maxillary premolar and molar roots have the closest proximity to the antral floor, odontogenic infections of these teeth are often the cause of odontogenic maxillary sinusitis.
