Even though the plan affects streets in all districts of the city, its main intervention takes place at the Eixample district: an area shaped as an orthogonal grid of streets, resulting in equally sized 113x113 meter blocks and 20m wide streets, and characterized by a great mix of uses (Gomez-Escoda et al, 2022).
