A field trial was conducted at Central Research Farm (CRF), SHUATS, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh during the Kharif season of 2021. The field was laid in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) replicated thrice with seven treatments. The larval population per plant was taken as the first spray and second spray on one day before spraying and 3rd,7th and 14th day after each spray all the treatments tested and found to significantly reduced the larval population compared to control. The results of the efficacy showed that the mean larval population recorded in the treatment Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC (3.45%), was most effective. The next effective treatments was Spinosad 45 SC (3.70%) followed by Emamectin benzoate (3.80%), Metarihizium anisopliae (4.00%), Neem oil (4.15%), Karanj oil (4.30%) as compared to Control (7.10%). The best and most economical treatment in terms of yield and B: C ratio was Chlorantraniliprole 18.5SC (20.98q/ha and 1:3.99). It was followed by Spinosad 45SC (20.62 q/ha and 1:3.92). Emamectin benzoate 5% SG (17.45 q/ha and 1:3.84), Metarhizium anisopliae (17.01 q/ha and 1:3.83), Neem oil 5% (16.6 q/ha and 1:3.61), Karanj oil 5% (15.13 q/ha and 1:3.46), as compared to control (9.5q/ha and1:2.28).

The present study provides a comprehensive overview of the Bacillus velezensis strain Htq6, and its potential applications in plant disease control. Htq6 is an endophytic bacterium derived from walnut, which was found to possess a strong inhibitory effect on a wide range of plant pathogenic microorganisms and was identified as a good plant disease control agent. The entire genome of the Bacillus velezensis Htq6 was sequenced, and a comparative genomic analysis was conducted with various Bacillus species in order to better understand the mechanism of the strain’s biological control. At the same time, a new classification result was presented. Additionally, transcriptome analysis was performed to explore the response mechanism of tomato gray mold fungus after treatment with the fermentation liquid of Bacillus velezensis Htq6. The study analyzed the distribution of various secondary metabolite gene clusters in the Bacillus model strains and employed RNA-Seq technology to obtain transcriptome expression profiles. Furthermore, the cell wall, cell membrane, and antioxidant-related genes of Botrytis cinerea were analyzed, providing insight into the antibacterial mechanism of biocontrol bacteria and the stress response mechanism of Botrytis cinerea. The results of the research are promising, and could potentially lead to the development of an effective biocontrol agent for the prevention and control of various plant diseases.

Background: Deltamethrin, a type 2 pyrethroid, reported toxicity said to have atoxic effect upon chronic exposure on the immune system. Since bone marrow is the source of immune cells, it is appropriate to test impact of the widely used Deltamethrin on BMSCs (Bone marrow stem cells). It was found that long term exposure to these toxic pesticides used for domestic and agricultural purposes showed to cause severe hematotoxicity and degenerative marrow diseases, precisely hypoplastic bone marrow failure condition in mammals. The present study analysed the less explored predicted effects of Deltamethrin on blood stem cells through CD45 receptor and virtual effects on cultured cells.Methods: The effect of deltamethrin on bone marrow-derived stem cells at different concentrations and time periods was analysed. To further understand the molecular basis of how these chemicals affect the protein-ligand binding, molecular docking studies were conductedResult: Our results on iGEMDOCK 2.1 software used to dock CD45 receptors with DLM and the binding mode indicated that the bound ligand and the active site of CD45 had a good binding score of -68.04 and formed the five H bonds with the amino acids residues of CD45. It is found from the current study that there is an increase in cytotoxicity with increased exposure to deltamethrin. Further studies can be done to note the precise target of such agents to quickly underst and and control the effect of such drugs on a safer lifestyle.
