Features of the Mechanism of Formation of Crosslinked Furfuryl Polymers

Abstract: The conditions and mechanism of formation of crosslinked polymers from furfuryl oligomers have been studied. A new mechanism of formation of crosslinked furfuryl polymers in a neutral medium is proposed. This mechanism has been confirmed experimentally by investigating reactions of formation of crosslinked polymers based on dimethylol furan oligomer.
