Adoption of the crop-livestock system (CLS) technology innovation is influenced by internal and external factors of farmers. The purpose of this study was to determine the influencing factors of CLS adoption technology innovation for beef cattle in South Bengkulu Regency. The research was carried out from January to April 2020 at the location of the Integrated intensive livestock village (Integrated ILV) in South Bengkulu Regency located at 5 villages. Data were collected through a census involving 73 farmers i.e. farmers’ characteristics, performance of the extension agents, attributes of CLS innovation, communication channels, farmers' attitudes towards innovation, and the farmer adoption of CLS. Data analysis using SEM-PLS method. The results showed that farmer adoption of CLS was significantly influenced by the performance variables of the extension agents and the attributes of innovation, but not influenced by communication behavior and farmers’ attitudes.

Coffee is a superior commodity in Temanggung Regency. Post-harvest processing affects the quality of a coffee product. The Robusta Temanggung Coffee Geographical Indication Standard governs the standard of processing. This research aims to analyze the attitude of robusta coffee farmers towards GIs based coffee processing standards. The study uses a descriptive method. The respondents were 80 robusta coffee farmers in Temanggung Regency. Questionnaires are structured using a Likert scale. The data collection using random sampling techniques. The data analysis using the scoring method. The results showed that farmers had a good attitude towards GIs-based coffee processing standards, agreeing to GIs based sorting, drying, and storage processes. Farmers have not been motivated to measure coffee bean water content according to GIs standards due to facility constraints. Intensive education, motivation, facilities, and mentoring are required for farmers to implement GIs-based coffee processing standards.

Indonesia produces large amounts of rice. However, almost every year, rice imports are still carried out to meet the needs of food stock, and supply in several regions still needs to catch up to demand. The application of rice cultivation technology contributes to increasing the productivity of cultivated rice products with the “Jajar Legowo System” (JLS). The purpose of this study is to compare the income of JLS cultivation and conventional systems (CS). This research applied the descriptive-analytic method from the survey. The purposive method was applied deliberately in determining the location of the study by considering certain objectives. This study uses a simple random sampling techniques to collect samples from 30 JLS and CS farmers. The collected data is first compiled, described, and then analyzed by quantitative research methods, namely, taking a sample from a population using a questionnaire as a data tool. The research results showed that the application of JLS rice cultivation technology significantly increased productivity (13.62%), income (29.88%), efficiency (18.90%), and benefits for rice farmers (8.53%) compared to that CS. Rice cultivation using JLS is appropriate in Indonesia to increase farmers’ income. The application of JLS can improve farmers’ income. This technology is feasible to develop in Indonesia.
