Factor Structure and Reliability of the Spanish Version of the Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire for Older Persons

Abstract: The Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire for Older Persons (MSQ-FOP) measures marital satisfaction in a manner relevant to older adults. This study examined the psychometric properties of the Spanish-language version with 81 Latino/Hispanic Spanishspeaking couples aged 55 to 93 residing in Puerto Rico. Results revealed a robust structure, confirming the composition of the original scale version.
