Key Performance Indicators no. 7 provide direction for the application of problem-solving learning methods, and recommend implementing project-based group learning (team-based projects). Implementation of collaborative learning activities can be carried out through the Lesson Study for Learning Community method. Collaboratively, all existing LS teams carry out planning, observation, and reflection. This activity was aimed to analyze the improvement of the quality of collaborative learning in lesson study communities in Muhammadiyah schools throughout Central Java based on "Competition Exploration". Implementation of activities in the field begins with Lesson Study workshops, learning models, writing scientific articles and IPR. In order to strengthen the article writing skills for teachers of the Lesson Study Team at Muhammadiyah schools throughout Central Java, this community service activity was followed up with a safari in 6 residencies in Central Java. The activity emphasizes assisting in writing scientific articles and submitting IPRs. From this assistance, 40 scientific articles and 40 HKI proposals, 40 lesson designs, and learning videos were produced. The community service team has produced 1 scientific article in the field of service, and 18 news articles in the mass media. Thus, this activity was successfully implemented and there was an increase in the quality of collaborative learning in the lesson study community.

The aim of the study is to identify and explain preparation activities of three English teachers in lesson study process. The English teachers dealt with activities such as setting objectives, building content, organizing classroom practices and identifying success criteria for learning objectives and reflection in three different lesson study cycles based on social constructivism for about 5 months. In this study, the single case study design was adopted. Criterion sampling method was used to determine the participants. The group-based activities of teachers were repeated in each research lesson at different subjects and different grades. Instead of preparing a new format of the existing lesson plan in each research lesson, the participants prepared new lesson plans for each research lesson. The data were obtained by class observation, camera recordings, interview, and document examination of the lesson plans. It was observed that the teachers made more qualified decisions in planning teaching tasks and there were positive changes in their planning skills and teaching practices in the process in lesson study cycle.

Resumo O objetivo central desta scoping review, realizada segundo o quadro metodológico de Arksey e O’Malley, é compreender as mudanças organizacionais, culturais e pedagógicas geradas pelas Comunidades Profissionais de Aprendizagem, em meio escolar, nos últimos cinco anos, e encontrar, na literatura revista, lacunas que possam informar futuras investigações. Os resultados indicam que, embora os estudos sobre essas comunidades sejam numerosos e revelem os seus efeitos positivos, eles estão, essencialmente, fundamentados na compreensão teórica e concetual do seu construto, em atividades de curto prazo e em contextos situacionais limitados. Constata-se, assim, uma escassez de investigações que estudem tais comunidades numa perspetiva longitudinal e como propulsoras da construção de organizações aprendentes.
