Choosing the good career is important since early when you are still in college. The good career will help should be in accordance with the personality of each person to ensure that the career can be lived in continuous time. The purpose of this study is to predict the career of students in higher education based on their personality using a virtual assistant. The method used is the prototype method to build a virtual assistant by adopting the MBTI personality test. The results of this study indicate that virtual assistants are built very well to recommend appropriate career choices to students in higher education according to the personality possessed by each student. The virtual assistants produced successfully implemented the MBTI test model in a system that was built and had a high degree of accuracy in recommending career choices. This study concludes that predicting the right career choice will be able to help students in higher education to prepare for careers early when they are still educating and practicing it well so as to produce sustainable career choices in the future.

Nowadays, augmented reality is becoming more and more popular because it can help individuals learn about many things, such as buildings, books, historical places, etc. in real time. The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test, a questionnaire-based test, is used to determine personality type, which influences perceptions of the world and the ways in which individuals make decisions. This system is based on C.G Jung’s typological theory and was developed by Katherine and Isabel Briggs. The purpose of this paper is to use the MBTI personality test to define the personality types of users. To accomplish this aim, we used Unity3D, Processing, and Vuforia SDK. First, the processing program was used to produce results from sixteen images and send them to Unity3D. Second, Vuforia SDK was used to recognize masks in real time and map images to the masks. Then, Unity3D displayed the final mapping result.

Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a estrutura fatorial do MBTI. Para tanto, foi utilizado um banco de dados contendo descrições e dados para o MBTI coletados entre 2006 e 2009 e perfazendo um total de 6.460 protocolos de sujeitos com idades variando entre 14 e 77 anos. Foram realizados dois estudos. Na etapa 1, os resultados demonstraram que todos os itens se agrupam adequadamente para medir a dimensão psicológica em questão. Já na etapa 2, para a realização da Análise Fatorial Confirmatória, a amostra foi composta por 5190 participantes com idades variando entre 18 e 77 anos. Os resultados dessa etapa apontaram para quatro fatores independentes, funções de Julgamento, Atitudes, Percepção e Orientação, reunindo todos os 93 itens da versão brasileira da escala. Tais achados, nas duas etapas, demonstram serem condizentes com as expectativas teóricas.
