Evaluation Principles of the Dust Influence of Mining Enterprises on the Environment

Abstract: It has been noted that the areas disturbed by open-pit mining together with the production processes in the extraction of mineral resources (drilling, blasting, transportation, etc.) have a negative influence on the environment in general and the atmosphere in particular. It has been indicated that, in percentage terms, dusting of refuse dumps and tailing dumps plays a prevailing role in the total amount of dust generated. It has been stated that the processes of formation and subsequent transfer of dust in th… Show more

“…At the same time, analyzing its structure presented in Table 3, along with positive trends, against the general background, palm oil imports to Russia stand out significantly. They grew 19% last year, despite the fact that back in 2003, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) cited evidence linking saturated fat intake with an increased risk of heart disease as compelling (Kuznetsova et al, 2016;Gendler et al, 2019;Plaskova et al, 2017;Hambali, 2019;Mandal and Sanyal, 2019;Gabidullina et al, 2019;Kolmakov et al, 2019;Mullakhmetov et al, 2018;Jafarpour et al, 2019). In early 2019, WHO again raised the issue of the direct and indirect effects of palm oil on human health and called for a synergistic solution to the problem of unhealthy mass-produced and processed products.…”
