Abstract:We present results of a comparative study of beliefs about (i) the pronominal forms a gente (“we”) and tu (“you”) and (ii) the social evaluation of nonstandard verbal agreement with these two pronouns by a group of students from the Federal University of Sergipe (Itabaiana-SE).
