Abstract: A   obesidade   é   uma   doença   que   afeta   a   população   mundial.   O   número   de   pessoas   obesas   está aumentando. Uma estatística da Sociedade Americana de Nutrição Clínica relata que a percentagem de crianças com obesidade triplicou nos últimos 20 anos no Brasil e em países em desenvolvimento.
