“…A fast computational method for calculating the maximum wind penetration level obtained from the number of in‐service generators based on an allowable maximum frequency deviation was proposed in [11]; however, this simplified method was only applied in a small isolated power system. The approximation for the maximum deviation in frequency was based on a sensitivity analysis to estimate the maximum level of wind power generation that can be integrated into the power grid and was proposed in [12, 13].
