The effectiveness of the new humic nature feed additive -«Animal Forte», has been established, depending on its amount on the metabolism of laboratory rats. We used sexually mature male white rats of 2 months age, from which five experimental groups were formed and one intact, with eight animals each. The experiment lasted four weeks, during which the animals of the experimental groups received daily in addition to the main feed 5, 10, 20, 30 and 50 mg of feed additive with its active substance per 1 kg of animal's weight. Morpho-functional indicators (hemoglobin content, hematocrit, red blood cells, platelets, and leukocytes) were determined in EDTA stabilized blood. To define the effectiveness of a new humic nature food supplement, the content of total protein, albumin and globulins, uric acid, urea, creatinine, glucose, and the activity of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) were measured in blood serum. Red blood cell coefficients were determined by a calculation method: mean erythrocyte volume (MCV); mean erythrocyte hemoglobin content (MCH); mean hemoglobin concentration in erythrocyte (MCHC).A feed supplement at a dose of 10 mg/kg had a greater effect on hematopoietic function, especially on the erythropoiesis processes, namely, the hemoglobin content, the number of RBC, the RBC index -MCV, MCH were increased. Due to this, respiration and oxidation-reduction processes in animal tissue were improved. Usage of a biologically active humic nature substance at a dose of 5 mg/kg of animals weight to a greater extent compared with other options improved the function of liver hepatocytes, increasing its protein-synthesizing property, due to this effect, the total protein and albumin content in the serum of experimental animals were increased. Under the influence of the feed additive on metabolic processes, including the membrane's permeability, in the blood of rats of experimental groups, the level of glucose was decreasing. The positive effect of Animal Forte on the kidneys filtration and excretory properties was also noted, due to which the content of urea and creatinine in the blood of rats was decreased. It has been established that already with a minimal dose of 5 mg/kg of body weight, the feed additive had an effect on animals' metabolic processes.

The «Humilide»-Biologically Active Feed Supplement is a 10 % solution of humic acids that, by its antioxidant, immunostimulatory and antimicrobial properties, affects feed conversion, productivity and meat quality of farm animals. It is made according to TU In 15.7-00493675 004: 2009 in the conditions of the Research Laboratory of Humic Substances named of prof. L. A. Khristeva. Most of the work on the effects of the supplement has been done on poultry of different species and pigs. The available data on the safety of the feed additive «Humilide» were analyzed and biotested on Paramecium caudatum in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation in the field of control of veterinary preparations and feed additives. A series of Humilide dilutions of 0.1-100 g/l on the culture medium at ciliates were prepared for toxicological studies. Acute toxicity data of the tested concentrations were obtained according to the recommended methods of rapid bioassay. LC 50 values were determined by probit analysis of lethality curves. In solutions of «Humilide» 1.0 and 10 g/l within 1 hour of observation, the death of the protozoa was less than 10 % of the total number. A concentration of 100 g/l causes a decrease their quantity. According to the calculation of the toxicity of «Humilide» by the method of Bliss & Prozorovsky LC 50 for Paramecium caudatum is 104 g / l. Using the graphical method for calculating LC 50 from the obtained regression line, the result was 124 g/l. Thus, «Humilide» at a concentration of less than 1 % is non-toxic to protozoa, NOEC (No Observed Effect Concentration) is 2 g/l and EC 50 (Half maximal effective concentration) is 104-124 g/l. Therefore, the results on the activity of «Humilide» in relation to the Paramecium caudatum allow to classify it as a non-toxic substance, LC 50-over 5 000 mg/kg. It is IV class acute toxicity according to SP 8.8.1.2.002-98 (Ukraine) and international criteria-5 toxicity category. When converted to the content of humic acids in the composition of the sample, this corresponds to 10.4-12.4 g/l.

The study of the effects of natural biologically active substances, manifestations and consequences of their application to different species of animals or under different conditions is being conducted. Peculiarities of the implementation of such effects when used separately or in combination, in particular, humic acids with mineral or organic acids, creates opportunities for optimal combination or solution to the complexities of the technological setting of feed additives. Changes in the morphometric parameters of internal organs in rats under the influence of the new feed additive of humic nature «Animal Forte» were detected. The established biochemical changes are confirmed at the histological level. In terms of the degree of expressiveness of the protective effect on the state of the liver parenchyma of rats, the dilution exceeds this dilution. No structural changes were detected in micropreparations of kidneys in animals of groups 2, 3, and 4, full blood and stasis in the capillaries of vascular glomeruli were observed. In the control and fifth experimental groups, the presence of damaged tubules, in which the brush border is rejected, was noted during the examination of kidney histopreparations. The morphometric parameters of the liver underwent the most pronounced changes in animals 1 and 2, intestines -1 and 4, and kidneys and hearts -2 and 5 of experimental groups, respectively. A smaller liver mass was found in the animals of the experimental groups, in particular, a decrease in the liver index in rats of the 1st and 2nd experimental groups by 21 % and 15 %, respectively. Kidneys in animals of experimental groups 2 and 5 had 14 % less weight, but the kidney index did not have significant changes in rats of all experimental groups compared to the control. Almost similar changes were related to heart weight, animals of experimental groups 2 and 3 also had probable changes by 13 %, and 5 groups by 14 %. Intestinal mass was significantly smaller in animals 1 (by 14 %), 3 (by 10 %) and 4 (by 11 %) of experimental groups, but the index was reduced only in animals of experimental group 1 by 16 %.
