In the case of the energy sector (including mining companies) and the implementation of their development projects, it is necessary to obtain a social license to operate for a given project, which is associated with the involvement of various groups of stakeholders in the project and should be consistent with the company’s strategy. The basis for obtaining permission to operate is to conduct a stakeholder mapping process. Such an analysis will aid effective dialogue with all stakeholders and guide appropriate relationship building. The aim of this paper is to present the authors’ method of stakeholder mapping, which is an independent methodical idea that can be implemented in any enterprise. This paper comprehensively presents this algorithm, starting with the identification of stakeholder groups, through the determination of their level of interest and influence, ending with the construction of a matrix indicating the necessity of undertaking specific communication activities. Finally, the implementation of the created method in the form of a real business project is presented, the advantages are pointed out, and the possibilities and determinants of further development of this algorithm are presented. This method is proposed to companies from the energy sector, including those mining energy resources, as companies that have a significant impact on their social and environmental environment.

The paper presents an original algorithmfor a mining damage management system with a stakeholder communication component.The paper addresses the issue of communication with stakeholders of mining companies, more specifically, with local stakeholders (hosts) who face the problem of damage caused by the mining activities of companies. Efficient and effective communication in case of occurrence and reporting of damages is extremely important for the image and quality of relations with local communities. However, there is an apparent problem in the industry with the speed and efficiency of processing claims. The authors of the paper propose a procedural model to improve this process. The algorithm is based on the Servqual methodology, with parallel accounting,according to the project management triangle, of the elements of scope, finance, time, and quality. The algorithm is fully functional and comprehensive. Not only does it guide through the next steps, indicating times and personal responsibility, but it also includes draft input and output documents. It provides an effective guide for the conduct of each notification, describing the course of actions and indicating the necessary actions to be taken.

The subject of this article concerns the growing issue of implementing the concept of social responsibility in the activities of integrated energy entities. This work includes the performance of a budgetary analysis of the national leading company, in terms of expenses associated with corporate social responsibility (CSR). The article presents the analysis of source literature, as well as identifies stakeholder activities. The introduction includes an explanation of the concept of CSR, its global approach along with the justification for the need to implement the concept of CSR in the strategy of industry entities. The following were used, among others, to perform the research: elements of financial and non-financial reporting, i.e. reports of a vertically integrated energy company - Capital Group Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA, over the years 2013-2017. The data obtained from distributed sources were used. The company's activities in social and environmental directions were identified, and the stakeholder groups of these initiatives were determined. The main purpose of this article was to estimate the level of expenditure associated with CSR in the context of the company's general budget. The article emphasizes the role of the PGE Foundation as a recognizable point of company activity in the scope of CSR (the participation of individual group companies in financing the foundation was presented). The analysis of CSR expenditure included: 38 the amount of taxes paid, costs of employee benefits and assets of the social services fund, and environmental costs.
