Contemporary construction project management faces a significant challenge: the existing academic literature, spanning various disciplines, remains underutilised due to a lack of systematic integration for transdisciplinary collaboration. The primary purpose of this study is to forecast connected disciplinary thought through a novel bibliometric model, in the development of ‘co-theory analysis’, thereby identifying potential transdisciplinary collaboration gaps capable of effectively addressing transdisciplinary research in the field of construction project management through a theocratic lens of transdisciplinary perspectives. This novel method of exploring interdisciplinary theory utilises a detailed bibliometric analysis of project management literature from Scopus by identifying its interconnected relationship with construction project management, categorising papers by theory to reveal interdisciplinary intersections and potential collaborations. It statistically predicts research effectiveness, providing a roadmap for success across a series of disciplines. The analysis reveals significant, yet previously unexplored, theoretical intersections with a focus on construction project management and other co-keyword disciplines, cointegrated through theory to systematically map and analyse patterns in academic literature trends. These intersections suggest specific areas where collaborative research yields substantial potential advancements. Additionally, the study further identifies key institutions and academic experts whose combined expertise could be pivotal in bridging these identified research gaps. This novel bibliometric analysis method for statistical theory analysis is developed to enhance transdisciplinary collaboration and is a considerable contribution to the advancement of transdisciplinary research. Aligned with SDG 9, in addressing complex challenges and promoting sustainable industrialisation and innovation. It identifies key theories for use in construction project management, offering a framework for strategic academic transdisciplinary partnerships and targeted theoretical exploration for academics of any level.

The field of sanitation has been extensively discussed in the literature from varied viewpoints. However, a comprehensive approach summarising the entrepreneurial facets of the sanitation industry is still fragmented. This study examines 375 papers published over 25 years. It attempts to identify significant studies and concepts that researchers have developed across time. A review of the literature on sanitation and its entrepreneurial ecosystem has been undertaken in the study. It incorporates bibliometric as well as content analysis. The bibliometric approach focuses on the quantitative aspects of the study, while content analysis looks at the literature qualitatively. Data analysis has been performed using the Scopus database. Further, VOSviewer software has been used to create various network maps. The highest number of papers were published in 2021, signifying growing research interest in the domain. Environmental Monitoring and Assessment is the journal of highest influence, and the most cited paper is about “Marketing to the Base of the Pyramid (BoP) Market.”

The characteristics of low-income housing in Namibia include severe inequality in housing standards, heavy reliance on non-office jobs, overcrowding, and poor infrastructure. This study uses a survey and semi-structured interviews to investigate the improved service delivery of this low-income housing. It explores this through the perspectives of community-based facilities management, sustainability, and enterprise development. In particular, the study examines opportunities for enterprise development, the willingness to participate in the production and management of public services, and the current state of public services in selected settlements in Windhoek. The results show that a lack of access to fire safety, disaster prevention, recreation, green spaces and tourist facilities are gaps in service delivery. Residents are willing to participate in both the co-production and management of public services. The study also found that residents have the appropriate skills to enable their engagement in management and production, and suitable governance structures are put in place to foster trust. The study recommends a policy that requires community visioning focused on public service improvement. It also calls for renewed trends in low-income people’s participation in public service development processes. The study’s contribution to existing knowledge on this subject is that it produced a multi-faceted framework for improving public services in low-income housing that is based on principles (and actions) of sustainability and policy (and planning) of land/housing access and has the potential to lead to public service-based community wellbeing.
