“…This questionnaire includes 56 statements (Appendix 1) and allows us to measure five components of time perspective: (1) past negative, which reflects a general pessimistic, negative attitude or one with an admixture of disgust toward the past; (2) present hedonistic, which reflects the hedonistic and risky attitude toward time and life, the orientation to pleasure and enjoyment in the present and the lack of concern for future consequences; (3) future, which reflects the general orientation to the future determined by the pursuance of the goals and rewards of the future; (4) past positive, which reflects a warm and sentimental attitude toward the past; and (5) present fatalistic, which reveals a fatalistic, helpless and hopeless attitude toward the future and life. Despite the criticism of this diagnostic tool by some researchers (Worrell and Mello, 2007), its application in various countries shows the high reliability and validity qualities of the scales (Mitina and Sircova, 2008; Popova, 2020; Przepiorka, 2016, 2017; Riantoputra and Muis, 2020; Zabelina et al ., 2021).…”
