The competitiveness of businesses depends on the resources and capabilities that businesses are possessing, developing, and exploiting, including dynamic capabilities. In turn, competitiveness positively affects the business performance. However, whether there is an impact of dynamic capabilities on business performance is still unclear. Moreover, research on the mediating role of entrepreneurial orientation and innovation in the relationship of dynamic capabilities and business performance is rare. The research objective of this study is to check the impact of dynamic capabilities on business performance and the mediating role of entrepreneurial orientation as well as innovation in the relationship of dynamic capabilities and business performance. The PLS-SEM method is used. The research sample with 405 observations was collected using non-probability method. The respondents were managers of tourism small and medium businesses. Research results show that dynamic capabilities directly and indirectly impact the performance of small and medium-sized tourism businesses in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam through entrepreneurial orientation and innovation.

This article examines the direct and indirect (through strategic decision-making processes) impacts of knowledge visualisation on strategic decision quality and strategic decision commitment in small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Structural equation modelling (SEM) methodology was used to test the research model based on data collected from 209 senior managers of manufacturing SMEs that operate in food production in Egypt. The results suggest that knowledge visualisation has a significant positive effect on strategic decision-making processes, strategic decision quality and strategic decision commitment. In addition, strategic decision quality is dependent on strategic decision-making processes, but decision-making processes do not significantly impact strategic decision commitment. Knowledge visualisation through strategic decision-making processes could help organisations in making high-quality decisions. The research adds to the theories of knowledge-based view (KBV) and rational decision-making by demonstrating that knowledge visualisation could be a catalyst for effective strategic decision-making.

Purpose: The study sought to establish the mediating effect of CSR on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and competitiveness of Medium-Size Enterprises in Kenya. Descriptive and exploratory research design was used. Methodology: The study used the stratified random sampling technique as it ensured that all listed companies is represented according to the various sectors. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for analysis. Findings: The results show enough evidence that EO positively influence competitiveness of Medium-Size Enterprises and that, CSR significantly and fully mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and the competitiveness of Medium-Size Enterprises in Kenya. Unique Contributions to Theory, Policy and Practice: Regarding managerial implications, the study provides knowledge to managers over the processes of shaping strategy and decision making, stressing the importance of both encouraging the development of EO capabilities and focusing efforts on CSR to improve Medium-Size Enterprises competitiveness.
