Enterocolitis: an adverse event in refractory epilepsy patients treated with levetiracetam?

Abstract: The close temporal relationship between initiation of LEV intake, symptomatic colitis and clinical improvement following LEV tapering, suggests that colitis may be a possible and previously undescribed adverse effect of LEV.
