Technology is permeating every aspect of our everyday lives, and businesses are increasingly turning to learning algorithms. These technologies are commonly associated with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Learning (DL), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Due to previous research exciting findings, implications, and limitations, the research publication on AI, ML, DL, and ANN will increase each year. Finally, the growth analysis of AI, ML, DL, and ANN publications in last 10 years brings up the results that the publications significantly increase each year. This research utilizes descriptive analyses and bibliometrics. Implications of the investigation of specific keyword mapping visualization results on AI, ML, DL, and ANN, can be created and enhanced for more study. A different area of future research might focus on using fewer terms, particularly to study learning methods like AI, ML, DL, and ANN in a convolutional neural network.

Learning Management System (LMS) becomes one of the learning media tools that are quite widely used, so a study is needed to know the trend of LMS development. The objectives of this study are to analyze the types of documents, languages, contributing countries, top affiliates, sponsorship funding, top productive authors, research citations, subject areas, top source titles, trend mapping visualization and top-cited 100 publications, also review some publications on LMS research over 1991-2021 using bibliometric analysis. The metadata gathered is by Scopus database and analyzed by VOSViewer within 2.689 documents. The bibliometric analysis results show LMS research has conference paper being the most widely published document type and English is the most widely used language, the country with the most publications is the United States of America. National Natural Science Foundation of China became the top funding sponsor, the top affiliate is Bina Nusantara University and the most productive authors are Graf, S. Top cited author achieved by Davis, F.D., top subject areas are Computer Science. Then, Lecture Notes In Computer Science Including Subseries Lecture Notes In Artificial Intelligence And Lecture Notes In Bioinformatics became the title of the top source. Trends of LMS research in 1991-2021 are: 1) related to E-learning; 2) implementation of learning activities and students and teachers; 3) integration of technology in learning; 4) distance learning; 5) Technology education; 6) Online learning environment; 7) Interactive learning environment.

This paper describes the principles and applications of a teaching/learning/research method of a “Virtual Transcultural Understanding Pedagogy” (VTUP) based on the conditions for prejudice reduction and the principles of Team Learning and Exploratory Practice. The pedagogy was implemented in a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project involving Japanese, Malaysian, and Chinese students enrolled in an online graduate seminar course conducted via Zoom at a leading research university in Japan. This seminar aimed to achieve a transcultural understanding of key emic cultural concepts through online interviews and collaborative writing using English as a lingua franca. Reflections on the exchanges that provide evidence for transcultural understanding are presented, thereby supporting the VTUP method. The contributions of the unique teaching/learning/research methodology to transcultural understanding and suggestions for implementing this pedagogy are discussed.
