Elucidation of the synergistic action of Mentha Piperita essential oil with common antimicrobials

Abstract: Mentha piperita L. essential oil (EO) is employed for external use as antipruritic, astringent, rubefacient and antiseptic. Several studies demonstrated its significant antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties.
