“…Then, these research results show that SMEs must continue developing and integrating sustainability strategies and domains (social, economic and environmental) in their primary operations to improve their competitiveness. In agreement with this, Aldeanueva Fernández and Cervantes Rosas (2019) investigated CSR as an approach for long-term value to stakeholders, meaning that the degree of success of a company’s strategy entails taking advantage of opportunities and minimizing these risks.
