Effect of Thermal Treatment of Building Materials on Natural Radionuclides Effective Specific Activity

Abstract: The influence of heat treatment (burning) of building materials on the effective specific activity of natural radionuclides was investigated. Analysis and processing of the obtained results allowed to obtain a consistent pattern of this process for each material. It has been established that the effective specific activity of natural radionuclides decreases along with growth of temperature of building rocks treatment. The results showed that it is possible to reduce the effective specific activity of natural r… Show more

“…At the same time, the vectors, similar in the original multidimensional space, appear alongside and on maps. In order to reflect the relative value of one or another component of the vector, the corresponding parts of the map are colored in a specific color depending on the chosen color scheme [12,20]. As a result of the algorithm, the following maps were obtained (see Figure 1 and 2): • neuron inputs map: Raw, 40 K, 226 Ra and 232 Th; • special cards: Aeff, Distance Matrix, Quantization Error Matrix and Clusters.…”

“…The model presented in this way is one-dimensional, but for searching and processing documented information, pseudo-multidimensional HMMs are of interest, consisting of a finite number of elements, called superpositions, each of which in turn is a separate HMM [15].…”
