“…Fluorides have relatively low phonon energy and weak electron–phonon coupling (EPC) effect on the d–d transition of Cr 3+ compared with oxides, which will be beneficial for developing the Cr 3+ NIR luminescence performances. , Song et al reported a Cr 3+ -doped fluoride of K 2 NaScF 6 :Cr 3+ with excellent luminescence thermal stability (89.6%), a high internal quantum efficiency (IQE = 74%), and an FWHM of 101 nm, which demonstrates that Cr 3+ -doped fluoride has great potential for NIR pc-LEDs application . Besides, Na 3 AlF 6 (λ max = 720 nm, IQE = 75%, FWHM = 95 nm), K 3 AlF 6 :Cr 3+ , and K 3 GaF 6 :Cr 3+ (λ max = 783 nm, IQE = 25 and 28%, FWHM = ∼100 nm) were also reported for NIR pc-LED application.…”

“…With alkali oxides of Na cations, the phosphate glasses have improved their thermal stability [11]. These are very promising materials for physical, chemical, optical and medical applications because of their high stability, controlled aqueous solubility and transparency in the wide spectral region [12]. In 65P 2 O 5 -15BaO-5Al 2 O 3 -5ZnO-10Na 2 O glass network added by B 2 O 3 content, the hardness and flexural strength were found high up to 6 mol% boron content, which indicates the improvement in mechanical properties of glass by inclusion of boron [13].…”

“…N a 2 O is the major contributor to manufacture glass followed by silicon [30]. In addition, N a 2 O has been found potential application in CO 2 sequestration [31], transparent materials [32], biomedical devices [33], and Nano grating glass [34]. Recently researchers have found its application in portable energy solutions due to its redox potential properties [35,38,39].…”
