“…TMH measurement with the keratograph is essentially the same as photographing with a slit lamp 3 but has several advantages including a short evaluation time and using infrared diodes as a light source, which prevents reflex tearing and negates the need for fluorescein instillation or calibration of magnification. In a recent study of the effect of noninvasive tear stability assessment on the TMH using the keratograph, 27 the TMH values of the normal and dry eye groups were 0.20 and 0.14 mm, respectively, and the values increased to 0.30 and 0.18 mm, respectively, after the measurement of TBUT. Our result was 0.23 mm in patients with dry eye, which is higher than that seen in the aforementioned study.…”
