E-book Culture at Rajshahi University Students in Bangladesh

Abstract: In the era of Information and Communication Technology, E-books are the blessing for the present world and it has drawn worldwide popularity besides the printed books among the readers. “…Contrary to this, Johnston & Ferguson [22] asserted that most of the learners hardly attempt to explore smart tools like annotation, highlighting etc. Additionally, the studies of Banik et al [23], Johnston & Salaz [24] as well as Piramanayagam & Seal [25] brought out the fact that the students prefer print materials for the ease of highlighting and Mizrachi [26] seconded this opinion and acknowledged that the students' preference was to print out the e-resources for the purpose of highlighting and note-taking.
