RESUMODiante da imensa crise ecológica e do risco de extinção não somente de espécies, mas de todo o planeta, este artigo procura reler o texto de Gn 1 sobre a criação divina, sobretudo focando sobre a relação, esperada por Deus, entre a humanidade e a terra com os seus seres vivos. Procura-se focar nos verbos "submeter" e "dominar" de Gn 1,28 procurando demonstrar que seu uso dentro da tradição sacerdotal expurga-os de toda conotação de violência e brutalidade. Relacionando essa leitura com a "dignidade humana" provinda de sua "imagem e semelhança" com o Criador, procura-se lançar luzes sobre a missão de realeza da humanidade em direção ao criado em termos de responsabilidade e cuidado na gestão da "casa comum". Por fim, almeja-se superar a visão antropocêntrica para evidenciar os elementos "eco-cêntricos" dentro do projeto original do Criador.Palavras-chave: Imagem. Semelhança. Subjugar. Dominar. Ecologia. INTRODUÇÃOCada vez mais se impõe uma postura ecológica no âmbito dos processos de pensamento e nos ensaios de novas práticas ambientais para o cuidado da "casa comum", isto é, o planeta terra no qual todos os seres viventes são hospedados. The starting point of the article is a triple crisis of the traditional historical exegesis of the OT. Proposed is a "theory of exegesis" which offers a basis for transformations of traditional questions and methods and which offers "interfaces" for both, the integration of recent trends of literary sciences and the dialog with non-academic, contextual approaches. The (biblical) text is basically understood as an "aesthetic subject" in order to stress that the interrelation between the text and its readers proceeds from the productive encounter between both. As "co-ordinates" of the theory function U. Eco's three "intentions of interpretation" and their relations: the "intentio operis" which opens the perspective on descriptive text theories, the "intentio lectoris" which integrates "aesthetics of reception" and the "intentio auctoris" which offers the link to the traditional historical-critical exegesis.
