RESUMODiante da imensa crise ecológica e do risco de extinção não somente de espécies, mas de todo o planeta, este artigo procura reler o texto de Gn 1 sobre a criação divina, sobretudo focando sobre a relação, esperada por Deus, entre a humanidade e a terra com os seus seres vivos. Procura-se focar nos verbos "submeter" e "dominar" de Gn 1,28 procurando demonstrar que seu uso dentro da tradição sacerdotal expurga-os de toda conotação de violência e brutalidade. Relacionando essa leitura com a "dignidade humana" provinda de sua "imagem e semelhança" com o Criador, procura-se lançar luzes sobre a missão de realeza da humanidade em direção ao criado em termos de responsabilidade e cuidado na gestão da "casa comum". Por fim, almeja-se superar a visão antropocêntrica para evidenciar os elementos "eco-cêntricos" dentro do projeto original do Criador.Palavras-chave: Imagem. Semelhança. Subjugar. Dominar. Ecologia.
INTRODUÇÃOCada vez mais se impõe uma postura ecológica no âmbito dos processos de pensamento e nos ensaios de novas práticas ambientais para o cuidado da "casa comum", isto é, o planeta terra no qual todos os seres viventes são hospedados. A partir da emergência de novos paradigmas holistas e ambientais dos ecossistemas, da "teia da vida e dos sistemas vivos" (CAPRA, 2000) faz-se necessário uma revisão das compreensões tradicionais das tradições sagradas e escritas.
O artigo propõe discutir o conceito e o vocábulo justiça no antigo testamento e seus principais usos, tendo em vista que a prática da justiça em Israel é um elemento essencial da sua identidade. A salvaguarda dos direitos, sobretudo das classes mais oprimidas e excluídas, são um dever que se estende às todas as instâncias do exercício do direito e da justiça, incluindo a nação como um todo, condição sine qua non para a vivência da fidelidade à aliança com Deus.
O batismo é o primeiro sacramento da iniciação cristã. Como tal ele se apresenta como um sinal eficaz da graciosa oferta de salvação de Deus dada em Jesus Cristo. Esse evento salvífico que marca indelevelmente aquele que o experimenta é um acontecimento ao mesmo tempo pessoal e eclesial-comunitário. Nesta pesquisa, procura-se voltar às fontes bíblicas que referem o sacramento do batismo e a recepção do Espírito nos Atos dos Apóstolos. Após a introdução, o trabalho segue em três partes: a experiência batismal na Judeia; os textos batismais na Samaria; e por fim o batismo na missão de Paulo. O método seguido é a análise teológica dos textos. A conclusão aponta para a necessidade de uma renovada preparação para recepção frutífera do sacramento.
