Assessing technologies based on sediment yield in watersheds is increasingly important to determine the delivery rate. This work aimed to determine values of sediment delivery of the hydrographic basin of the river Jacu in the semiarid of Pernambuco and its relations with the soil and vegetation. Therefore, it was calculated the rates of interrill and rill erosion by yield testing under shrub and uncovered Inceptisols conditions, and it was carried out direct measurement campaigns of suspended sediment and bedload, by means of US DH -48 e US BLH -84, respectively. The sediment yield obtained in Jacu stream was considered low. The soil loss due to interril erosion under uncovered conditions equal to 8.43 t ha -1 was considered high, as well as the same way for the values of rill erosion with erodibility equal to 0.0021142 kg N -1 s -1 and critical shear stress equal to 2.34 Pa. The mean value of sediment delivery ratio of Jacu watershed was equal to 0.165 and ranged from 0.29 in the year 2008 to 0.026 in 2010. This variation is associated with the natural variability of semiarid environment, indicating the necessity of assessment in a large period of years to improve the knowledge about the sediment delivery ratio of Jacu semiarid watershed.

Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC) ResumoO presente artigo tem como objetivo compreender como se constituem os desafios e perspectivas do ensino remoto no ensino superior para a prática docente, no que tange às competências digitais e o processo avaliativo. Este artigo se caracteriza como um estudo qualitativo, bibliográfico e exploratório. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico dos estudos cujas temáticas versavam sobre o ensino remoto no ensino superior em relação à prática docente. As dimensões analisadas nos estudos pesquisados foram: a) competência digital; e b) processo avaliativo. Os resultados apontam que os desafios do ensino remoto no ensino superior para a prática docente, no que tange às competências digitais e processo avaliativo, parecem ser muito mais em desenvolver competências pedagógicas digitais e partindo destas realizar um processo avaliativo qualitativo. Em relação às perspectivas, é fundamental o investimento em capacitação/formação para os docentes, visando diminuir este distanciamento entre os saberes pedagógicos no âmbito presencial e os saberes pedagógicos mediados pela tecnologia.Palavras-chave: Ensino Remoto; Ensino Superior; Competências Digitais; Processo Avaliativo. ResumenEste artículo tiene como objetivo comprender cómo los desafíos y las perspectivas de la enseñanza a distancia en la educación superior se constituyen para la práctica docente, en lo que respecta a las competencias digitales y el proceso de evaluación. Este artículo se caracteriza por ser un estudio cualitativo, bibliográfico y exploratorio. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se realizó un levantamiento bibliográfico de estudios cuyas temáticas fueran sobre la enseñanza a distancia en la educación superior en relación con la práctica docente. Las dimensiones analizadas en los estudios investigados fueron: a) competencia digital; yb) proceso de evaluación. Los resultados muestran que los retos de la docencia a distancia en la educación superior para la práctica docente, en lo que respecta a las competencias digitales y el proceso de evaluación, parecen estar mucho más en desarrollar competencias pedagógicas digitales y partir de estas para realizar un proceso de evaluación cualitativo. En cuanto a las perspectivas, es fundamental invertir en la formación/formación de los docentes, con el objetivo de reducir esta brecha entre el conocimiento pedagógico en el aula y el conocimiento pedagógico mediado por la tecnología.Palabras clave: Enseñanza a distancia; Enseñanza superior; Habilidades Digitales; Proceso de evaluación.

Effects of land use types on soil erodibility in a small karst watershed in western Hubei

Background Soil erosion is a severe problem in the karst watershed, and analysis of soil erosion at the watershed scale is urgently needed. Methods This study tried to estimate the soil erodibility factor (K-factor) using the Erosion Productivity Impact Calculator (EPIC) nomograph and evaluate the spatial distribution of the predicted K-factor in a karst watershed. Soil properties and K-factors of five land use types (NF: natural mixed forest, CF: cypress forest, EF: economic forest, ST: stone dike terrace, VF: vegetable land) in the Xialaoxi small watershed were compared and key factors affecting erodibility were analyzed. Results Results showed that (1) The erodibility K-factor was unevenly distributed within different site types and strongly influenced by anthropogenic activities. The soil K-factors of sample sites subjected to frequent human disturbance (ST, VF) were high, ranging from 0.0480-0.0520 t hm2 h/(MJ mm hm2), while the soil K-factors of natural site types (NF, CF, and EF) were low, ranging from 0.0436-0.0448 t hm2 h/(MJ mm hm2). (2) The soil texture in the Xialaoxi watershed was mostly loamy, and that of the agricultural areas frequently disturbed by agricultural practices (ST, VF) was silty loam. (3) Soil carbon fractions were affected by land use types. Soil organic carbon storage of NF and CF had strong spatial heterogeneity. The soil organic carbon (SOC) and labile organic carbon (LOC) of the two were significantly higher than those of the disturbed EF and cultivated land soil. (4) There was a synergistic effect between the soil properties and the K-factor. K was significantly negatively related to sand fractions (2-0.05 mm) and non-capillary porosity, while positively related to silt content (0.05–0.002 mm). Overall, changes in bulk density (BD), total porosity (TP), non-capillary porosity (NCP), texture, and organic matter content caused by natural restoration or anthropogenic disturbance were the main reasons for soil erodibility. Natural care (sealing) and construction of stone dike planting practices were effective ways to reduce soil erosion in small karst watershed areas of western Hubei.
