Durch die Spannung mittelgroßer Ringe bewirkte Cope-Umlagerung

Abstract: Für die Ringerweiterung um vier C‐Atome von mittelgroßen Ringen bietet sich eine neue Methode an: Bei der Umsetzung der Bis(brommethyl)‐Verbindung 1 mit Na2S läßt sich nicht das erwartete Primärprodukt 2, sondern lediglich das Cope‐Umlagerungsprodukt 3 isolieren. Durch Photoextrusion von Schwefel kann aus 3 der entsprechende Kohlenwasserstoff gewonnen werden.
