“…Brochures describing the intervention were used to recruit participants for the study in addition to provider referrals. Participants were eligible for the study if they were: (a) 18 years of age or older; (b) HIV-positive; and (c) reported sexual victimization before the age of 18 by an adult or by someone at least 5 years older than the participant at the time of incident using a modified version of the Traumatic Experiences Questionnaire [55].
